Sign Up for Presenting at The Press Conference

Hello, and welcome to the Sign Up form for presenting at The Press Conference!

Here is how this works:

  • I. Enter your personal info (name, email, phone)
  • II. Choose what day and time you would like to make your 2 minute presentation at The Press Conference (any Thursday starting on Nov. 19, or later)
  • III. Specify what day of the week (or day of the month, if you prefer) you wish to hold your recurring Open House, where anyone can come and have a conversation with you on Zoom

The basic idea is this:  You will debut yourself and your Open House to the world, via your 2 minute presentation at The Press Conference.  All who watch your presentation (either real-time, or watching the recording later) and are interested will be able to add your Open House to their calendar, and they will be able to talk with you at your next Open House.

Your Presentation is, to a very large extent, an invitation to the world to join you at your Open House. This is a great opportunity to talk about both your 2-minute presentation, and what you will be talking about ongoingly at your Open House.

The Press Conference will be held every Thursday from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm Pacific Time.

Presentation slots go from 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm Pacific Time, and are 2 minutes each.

Part III: Your recurring Open House

As per the informational video above, one of the two criteria for presenting at the Press Conference is that you hold a recurring Open House, so that folks who are interested can stop by and talk with you.  Minimum once per month (or as frequently as you would like).

As noted above, you are welcome to associate multiple presentations with a single Open House. Therefore, if you have filled out the following fields for your Open House, please be sure to check the very first check box that follows.

Note: the name of your Open House may include the name of your Community, Group, or Network, if applicable. Example: "Jamen's Open House", or "The Monthly Open House of the Desert Permaculture Community"

Example: “We start with a 30 minute presentation, then Q&A, then open discussion. It lasts for 2 hours.  We focus on the following topics . . .”

Please make sure you specify your time zone, and the duration of your Open House.  For example: “Every third Tuesday of the month from 5:30 - 6:30 pm Eastern Time.”

Zoom link, or other videoconference info (and/or telephone conference info), for your recurring Open House.
